Before you audition for The Drowsy Chaperone, you can find out all about the production at a special audition workshop, Monday, December 10th, from 6:30 pm-8:30 pm at PARC (located at 70 Saltspring Drive).
If you aren't quite sure what The Drowsy Chaperone is about, have never even heard of it, or just want more information before auditions, this is the time to get all the details! Find out all about the story, the characters, the music, and more! The workshop is free, and it will be a fun evening of choreography and collaboration. There's no preparation needed, just wear comfy clothes, and get ready to have a great time!

The house lights dim, the stage is dark, and the 'Man in the Chair,' as the character is called in the script, sets the vinyl cast recording of his favorite musical, The Drowsy Chaperone, into the record player and takes us on a belly-laugh-inducing trip. The 2006 Broadway production won five Tony Awards and is a love-letter to classic musical comedy.
Needed: 7-9 women, 4-6 men (plus chorus)

*Please prepare a song to sing and bring either piano sheet music or recorded music to perform to.
*Special skills, such as tap dancing, physical comedy, acrobatic skills, the ability to roller skate, accents, and over-the-top characterization are a plus!
