Join the San Juan Community Theatre's OnBook Readers Theatre Program!

Are you eager to direct or act in a relaxed, enjoyable atmosphere with little commitment? Do you have a new, classic, or experimental piece you'd like to bring to life?

The OnBook Readers Theatre Program at San Juan Community Theatre offers an ideal opportunity for both novice and experienced actors and directors to showcase their work in a fun and low-pressure environment!

From first timers to seasoned veterans, the workshop nature and compact time commitment make it an ideal way to fit directing and acting into a busy schedule. These productions feature actors performing with script in hand and are typically zero set, zero costumes, minimal staging, and minimal lighting. Directors run auditions, a table read, and two rehearsals before two performances to a public audience.
